Pastor Tarrelle Brooks is an innovative leader among
various communities in the Tampa Bay area. He has several talents and
has achieved a variety of accomplishments over the past several years.
He is a family man and a devoted husband. Our Pastor demonstrates knowledge
and understanding of people and their potential as he seeks to educate
individuals on activating their innate God-given abilities for the up
building of the kingdom.
Education
Pastor Tarrelle Brooks graduated from Crystal River High School in 1994
when he received a scholarship for academic leadership to Central Florida
Community College, Ocala, Florida. After two years of successful completion
of Community College, Pastor Brooks transferred to the University of
South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Although, Pastor Brooks initially began
with a major in Music Education he changed his major to Psychology.
In August of 1998 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Nonetheless, Pastor Brooks says, “Music/Education is my passion”.
And that it is, as our Pastor furthered his education and received his
Masters of Science degree in Educational Administration from National
University, February 2007. Our Pastor is currently the Exceptional Student
Education Specialist at Sulphur Springs Elementary School. He has been
an educator in Hillsborough County Public Schools since October 2000.
Since his educational career began he has received several honors. Pastor
Brooks received the Ida S. Baker Distinguished Educator of the Year
Award two consecutive school years in a row (Muller Elementary, 2005-2006
and Sulphur Springs Elementary, 2006-2007).

He
is also a recipient of the Mayor’s Beautification Grant, January
2006. Pastor Brooks is certified with the State of Florida Department
of Education in Exceptional Student Education and Educational Leadership
along with English Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement.
Family
Pastor Brooks is the loving husband of Pastor Letitia Brooks who walks
beside him in ministry. They were married September 8, 2001 in Tallahassee,
Florida. Pastor Brooks is also the father of three extremely stimulating
children with whom he enjoys spending time with. Pastor Brooks basis
his family values upon this motto: “The best way to spell LOVE
is T-I-M-E”. Pastor Brooks spends ample time with his family and
is well-known for keeping an active family schedule in order to ensure
that his “love” is shared equally among his immediate family.
Pastor Brooks is a positive role model for his family. His example is
worthy to be demonstrated throughout families across the Tampa Bay Area.
